Mercure Lyon Centre Brotteaux

Very quiet which is very unusual for an old building The staff was nice and gave me a room on the courtyard side, when I asked for one. High ceilings and large stairs give the general impression of having ample room around you. The hotel is very close to a major restaurant and bar / going-out area in Brotteaux but not actually part of it

the assistants are all very nice!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was close to lots of great restaurants and places to visit.

The large windows that were well sound proofed. The twin room overlooking the main road was good for my adult boys. My husband and I were moved to a room overlooking the main road. It had large windows and felt spacious . The breakfast was good and included in the price . There was a selection of cook your own boiled eggs / fried , cold meats and cheeses, pastries, toast and jam, tea and coffee etc The location was good . We like walking ' walking to the Old Town and back. My son ran and did a 5kms run around the park and it's lake. Parking was free across the road in August. Another advantage as no parking at the hotel.

We liked the connecting rooms with the kids Beds were super comfy Toilets were nice and clean Breakfast was good, my children enjoyed making their own eggs
